 29 April, 2007

This morning the senior doctor came for her rounds and found Nuel was fit enough to be sent

home, so we came home by 1:30PM.

 28 April, 2007

Nuel was feeling much better today and last night as with the previous nights he had high

temperature averaging 39.4 for more than 4 constant hours. Nuel was visited today by Uncle

Tesla, Aunty Stephenie along with two nursing students. Uncle Eng Wah and Aunty Rose also

came to visit and brought a big teddy bear for Nuel. Aunty Catherine came by herself and

brought along dosai and vadai for daddy, who simply loves south Indian food.

 27 April, 2007

Nuel has been having high temperature and cough, today he was not getting any better so we

took him to KK Hospital for a check up and we were advised by the doctor to admit him.  Today

was Nuel's first hospitalisation. In the night Nuel was visited by the man's net group - Uncle

Steven, Uncle Andy and Uncle Mathew along with Aunty Shirley.

 24 March, 2007

Today we observed Nuel crawling on all fours and he also managed to crawled his way out of the

bed and onto the floor for the 4th time. He was again protected by God and he did not have any

injury due to the fall.

 27 February, 2007

For the first time Nuel exhibited a strong attachment/clinging to mom. He was looking at mom

and crying out loud when mom put him down on the crib.

 19 February, 2007

Nuel contracted cough from child care centre and we had to take him to see the doctor at TMC.

We went to Anandhita's place for a nice south Indian lunch.

 17 February, 2007

Nuel's godparent invited us to their place for CNY re-union dinner.

 05 February, 2007

Immanuel is Six months today! We introduced water and cereal to him today!

 01 February, 2007

Today Nuel and Mom are off to Learning Vision child care centre for the first time. Nuel enjoyed

himself immensely with all the toys and friends around him, so much so that he did not even

bother to take his day time nap.

 11 January, 2007

Today he observed his dad chewing on something and he imitated the action with his saliva

dripping down his mouth. He is one smart baby!

He did not poo for the last 8 days and today he pass his poo and wow what a relief. Praise the Lord.

 06 January, 2007

First milk tooth erupted today and he just loves to put things into his mouth and bite.

 25 December, 2006

Immanuel's first Christmas at Sembawang VFC!

 24 December, 2006

We took him for his first Christmas eve celebration, unfortunately he could not join the crowd as

it was too noisy.

 17 December, 2006

He flipped over for the first time today, what an achievement! This also means that we must be in

constant alert to stop him from toppling himself from the bed.

 20 November, 2006

Yesterday he did a half turn and today for the first time he did a full circle turn.

 6 November, 2006

We took him to Thomson Medical Centre for his 3rd month visit to his favorite doctor Dr. Ong Eng

Keow. We brought him back feeling a bit feverish because of the jab.

 2 November, 2006

Today for the first time he learnt to reached out and grab hold of an object with his hand. We took

him to the Friday Net group meeting for the first time and he enjoyed immensely all the attentions

and the blessings he was receiving from the group members.

 24 October, 2006

He is beginning to explore his surroundings and loves it most when we talk to him. In his own way he tried responding with new sounds and he does laughs a lot too, sometime real loud...like his dad!

Last night for the first time he slept through the whole night and that's one big milestone for him

and a good and an uninterrupted sleep for mum in a long while.

 22 September, 2006

He responds very well to sounds and for the first time he uttered his first word loud and

sounded something like "Aaguu". Though the word does not hold any meaning at least for us, it

does however sound very sweet and very happy!

 18 September, 2006

Looked at dad in the eye and responded to dad's call! What a milestone!

17 September, 2006

Today is a very special day in Nuel's and our life. We dedicated Nuel to God and committed

ourselves in the eyes of God and the church member to raise up Nuel in the ways of the Lord.

Pastor Han conducted the dedication ceremony.

11 September, 2006

Not happy with his bushy hair we took him to the saloon and gave him a thorough hair cut that he look almost without any hair on his head.He looks much better.

10 September, 2006

Nuel goes to church for the first time in his life! Many church members came forth to admire

and blessed him!

 4 September, 2006

Nuel had his first hair (side burn) cut today at home.

 2 September, 2006

We celebrated the Chinese traditional way Immanuel 1st Full Month at Cashew Heights. This

special program was entirely organized by Nuel god parents and we invited all the beautiful folks

from our cell group.

 26 August, 2006

For the first time we made him lie down on his side and he felt asleep immediately.

 22 August, 2006

Immanuel gave us his best smile so far....a big lazy smile!

 8 August, 2006

Today I am with Nuel at home and dad went to join his new job.

 7 August, 2006

We got discharged today but the saddest thing is that Nuel had to stay back to get photo

therapy because he has above normal level of Jaundice.

 6 August, 2006

Nuel is asleep most of the time that he even forgets to cry and wail like any other normal new

borns. The doctor came around and declared that all's well with our son and we can all go home

soon.
